Storytime in the Park at Central Park, Papakura

Get your sun hat, sunscreen and a blanket ready, and join the Children's Librarians from Papakura Library for our annual 'Storytime in the Park' session.

This fun storytime session is FREE, and will take place at Central Park on 20 January at 10.30am - 11.30am.

Please note all children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. See you there!

Are you a writer, looking for inspiration? Join us as award-winning poet, editor and children's author Robert Sullivan facilitates the amazing 'Writing the Heart' workshop where you will be inspired to write fresh, emotionally-centred poems and stories.

Robert's newest poem 'Kawe Reo/Voices Carry' is engraved on the front steps of Central City Library. He is widely published, with seven poetry collections, a much-loved children's book, and a graphic novel. He performs his work locally and overseas.

Robert heads the Creative Writing School at Manukau Institute of Technology.
